Bio

Meghan Surges is an artist, technologist, educator, researcher, and writer. Born in Oconomowoc, WI, Meghan grew up in Cleveland, OH, and Portland, ME. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Kenyon College. In 2021, she graduated from RISD with an MFA in Digital + Media. Meghan has recently exhibited work at WaterFire Arts Center, Boston Cyberarts, Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, Sol Koffler Gallery, and Spectacle Theater.

Motivated by justice, intellectual curiosity, and interdisciplinary learning, Meghan’s practice bridges engineering, cinema, and sculpture.
